Starting A New "Wings In The Wind" Chapter

Interested in starting a new evangelical Christian motorcyle club in your community, with your own agenda, but would prefer to join a club/ministry that has already been established?

"Wings In The Wind" has been established with provisions for Christian motorcyclist's to start new regional chapters, if in agreement with the beliefs (as stated by the club documents).

Before starting a new Christian motorcycle ministry in your area it is highly recommended visiting existing Christian clubs. If it  is apparent that no existing clubs meet the needs of your group, and a new club is desired, the leader or leaders should examine "Wings in the Wind" documents to decide if it meets your group's needs. The BeliefsConduct, and Ministry Charter statements that should be signed and forwarded to the Chattanooga, Tn. Chapter. Many members enjoy wearing the Wings in the Wind "Colors" as a witnessing tool. though they are not a requirement for membership. These items are available to members at cost (approximately $50 for the back and front patches, and $10 - $20 dollars for shirts) and are available through the Chattanooga Chapter, with no additional fees due the national headquarters. Any funds required for operation of the ministry/club shall be by member offerings and not by required fees, dues, or monthly payments from the members.

Potential members who consider their church, sect, or denomination to be the only true body of Christ are not accepted by " Wings in the Wind", since it is our belief that there are many churches under various labels that are scripturally sound and are welcome in fellowship with believers who may have some minor differences in Biblical interpretation. The belief in exclusiveness causes lack of unity in spirit and purpose within the group and therefore is not a welcome ingredient.

The officers of the founding chapter (Chattanooga, TN) serve as the national officers, in order to protect the integrity and unity of the organization. The officers of each chapter are expected to take measures to protect the witness and integrity of their group, which may include using measures of discipline (personal discussion, spiritual discipline, removal, etc.).

All types of riders and cycles are encouraged to join, which sets "Wings In The Wind" apart from many of the existing motorcycle clubs or ministries that may cater to particular groups.
